Growing Together: Community Gardening Workshop Series in Lisdoonvarna
Lisdoonvarna Community Gardening workshop - September 24th
After three successful community gardening workshops where we shared skills, laughs and stories with the wonderful group who joined, we came with neighbours and friends for the main event.
On September 24th we turned the Lisdoonvarna community garden in to a shared outdoor space where people can come together to grow food, learn practical skills, and build connections with their neighbours. A space that offers an accessible, welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds to contribute, collaborate, and take pride in a space they have created together.
On the day we planted trees, building raised beds, weaving willow fences, making bug hotels and bird boxes, sowing seeds and planting vegetables, and much more to bring the community garden to life!
